By submitting a photo image through the San Jose State University photo upload web site, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms, please do not proceed with the image submission. If you choose not to proceed, you will be required to visit the Tower ID Card counter located at the Bursar’s Office in the Student Services Center to have your photo taken for your Tower ID Card.

This photo upload web site is provided by the San Jose State University Bursar’s Office and its third party providers. SJSU may update these terms and any changes will be effective immediately.

About the Tower ID Card:

The Tower ID card is the official ID card of the University and is managed by the Bursar’s Office. The Tower Card is the property of San Jose State University and its use is governed by the University's regulations and policies.

How we will use your photo image?

The digital photo image that you submit via this website will be used to produce your Tower ID card and is proof of identity and provides access to services and facilities at SJSU.

If you do not accept these terms, please do not proceed with the image submission. By uploading your photo, you are agreeing to the terms.

While every attempt is made to grant secure access to the photo upload system, SJSU does not guarantee that this system provides secure access or uninterrupted service. We cannot guarantee that this system will work with any specific hardware or software and we reserve the right to suspend service at any time, for any reason. Tower ID Card Policies
  • Tower Cards are the property of SJSU.
  • Lost cards must be reported immediately to myid@sjsu.edu or at the Bursar’s Office located in the Student Services Center.
  • The Card holder is responsible for the cost of a replacement card.
  • The Card holder agrees not to lend their card for any purpose.
  • In the case of misuse or repeated replacements, the University reserves the right to not issue a replacement card.
